School of Worship

DECLARING GLORY OF THE CREATOR

SoW Overview

The aim of this school is to provide students with a broad understanding of worship, and to train and develop them in their skills and talents for worship leadership, musicianship and song-writing.  We desire to see our students incorporate authentic worship of God as part of their every day life, thus reflecting their own worship of God in a way that will influence the lives of others.

We aim to provide holistic training approach to our school. Though not a music school, practical training will assist in individual musical skill development. Intense classroom lectures will touch on subjects such as  Perspective of Worship”, “Song-writing”, “Musicianship”, “Ancient Future Worship”, “Servant Leadership”, “Heart of the Worshiper”, “Worship and Missions”, “Creative Expressions in Worship” and much more. Outside the classroom there will be time for reflection and application through weekly journal writing, reading several recommended books, completion of assignments, small groups and worship band.  Opportunity will be given for students to lead worship in a variety of settings including the local community, open worship meetings, concerts, home group meetings etc. Students will be provided with an opportunity to record one of their own original songs.

We want to see our students present a genuine offering of praise and worship to the King of Kings. We want to see more worshippers and worship leaders to rise up to bring healing to the nations. We want to see people equipped with the necessary tools to take worship to the nations. We want to see our students being used by God to expand the kingdom of God to go and shape their culture and their generation through authentic worship.
